NEWF NIRVANA
Bob Hill (pictured at the right), my partner in all that is Newfie, is the one responsible for this heavenly haven of happiness. I'm ashamed to say that until I met Bob I didn't know anything about the Newfoundland breed. He had always wanted a Newfie, and when he found his beloved Genghis, I found this paradise.

XANADU NEWFOUNDLANDS is a small sanctuary in Clarkston, Michigan
Our goal is to breed with respect and love. This includes temperament, genetics, being faithful to AKC standards, and any and all factors relating to producing happy, healthy, well socialized puppies ready to be spoiled in a lucky person or family's home.

We plan for these puppies to be of quality to show and compete, but our primary goal is to raise well socialized, loved, loving, friendly, intelligent, devoted and loyal companions. These pups are given 24 hour care in our home and in our hearts. Prior to their actual appearance, we can only guarantee that:

~they will have been raised in our home with love
~they will have had a lot of fun and play time
spent with people and animals of different sizes
and ages
~they will have been exposed to lots of sights and
sounds and smells
~they will have had a lot of hugs and kisses
~they will be secure, sociable, happy and healthy.
And when they leave here,
~THEY WILL BE MISSED!

Our current residents (still growing) include:

HUMAN:
Bob Hill (pictured above)
Elizabeth Doss (myself)
daughter Courtney (25)
daughter Jillian (16)
NEWFS:
Dalai (3 1/2 year old black female - Mama to pups)
Cosmos (15 month old landseer male)
Atilla (19 week old black male)
Buddy (5 year old Maltese male)
6 black puppies (4 male-2 female born 11/29/00)

GENGHIS
The first Newfoundland to enter our home and our hearts was GENGHIS, whom we lost this past summer. He was magnificent! We never took Genghis anywhere without drawing a crowd that "Oohed" and "Ahhed" at the beauty of him. Genghis was the most loving, intelligent, humorous and devoted animal I've ever known. We will remember and miss him always.
